Every product of the RBC workspace is an independent repository with its own documentation site. This page is the entry point: pick a product below. The grouping, the dependencies and what is not built yet are in RBC product structure; logical modules and hardware allocation in RBC logical architecture and allocation to hardware. The whole architecture set is under Architecture.

Platform_RTE group

Platform_RTE - Safe Computing Platform core: application manager, voting, cross-comparator, checkpoint, dual-channel link, site role, state transfer, safe state, OS abstraction, flows.
Platform_Protocol_SafeComm - Safe communication library (Subset-037 and Subset-098 profiles).
Platform_OS_POSIX - POSIX implementation of the OS adapter and transport.
Platform_Protocol_DDS - Flow adapter stub delegating to the platform transport; no DDS yet.
Platform_Toolchain_MacOS - Compiler and target wiring for macOS (not deployed).
Platform_Toolchain_Linux - Compiler and target wiring for Linux (not deployed).
Platform_Toolchain_QNX - Compiler and target wiring for QNX (scaffold only, not deployed).
Platform_Toolchain_FreeRTOS - Compiler and target wiring for FreeRTOS (builds the platform, not the RBC; not deployed).

RBC_GP

RBC_GP - The RBC itself: ERTMS procedure engine, the A/B channel pair with cross-comparison, the site role client, and the Gateway services. Its sub-products are listed on its page: Platform_Protocol_KM114, Platform_Protocol_KM038, Platform_Protocol_JRU, RBC_Maintenance_Web.

RBC_GA and RBC_SA

RBC_GA - Generic application: route and movement-authority logic, interlocking and CTC adapters (shared library).
RBC_SA - Site data generated from railML, and the installer packaging.

Test environment (not deployed)

RBC_Test_Env - End-to-end test environment: Docker topology, Robot suites, web runner.
RBC_Test_CommServer - SIL 0 access-point stub used in tests.
RBC_Test_Sim_Core - Shared simulator code and the Python mirror of the RBC wire format.
RBC_Test_Sim_Train - Train simulator.
RBC_Test_Sim_IL - Interlocking simulator.
RBC_Test_Sim_CTC - CTC simulator.

Dedicated servers (placeholders)

RBC_TrainCommServer - Access point between the customer network (GSM-R ISDN, FRMCS) and the RBC, through the Gateway. Not yet scoped.
RBC_AI_Diagnostic_Server - Collects RBC and access-point logs and analyses them with AI models. Not yet scoped.
